We are women Building Strong Girls
Gamma Phi Beta believes that girls need to be mentally, socially and physically strong to achieve their potential in today's society. Today's girls face more challenges than ever before, making the need for a safe place with supportive mentors even greater. Girls need women in their lives who can help them develop the skills to succeed in life.
Gamma Phi Beta is proud to partner with national organizations that share our dedication to building strong girls. Through our partnerships we provide one-on-one mentoring, supportive group activities and financial resources to help our partners impact the lives of today's girls.
Philanthropic Mission
To provide experiences and resources that build spiritual, mental and social resiliency in girls.
Philanthropic Vision
We envision a community in which every girl and woman has the resiliency necessary to advance her own life and the lives of others.
Philanthropic Focus
Building Strong Girls
We give girls the confidence to dream big. We inspire the female leaders of tomorrow.
We are committed to improving the lives of young girls by not only building stronger girls but stronger communities through them.
Our Signature Philanthropy Event
Moonball is Gamma Phi Beta’s signature philanthropy event, where collegiate chapters across North America host a kickball, volleyball or basketball tournament each academic year to raise funds for our philanthropic partner, Girls on the Run. Moonball provides a healthy activity for participants, while allowing our members to serve as mentors and leaders in their communities.
Girls on the Run
Gamma Phi Beta is the proud exclusive National Panhellenic Conference National Partner of Girls on the Run International, a nonprofit organization that allows our sisters to actively live our philanthropic focus of Building Strong Girls through hands-on service and charitable giving.
Eta Lambda directly supports the local Orlando chapter of GOTR that gives us hands-on experience and an active role with young women. We contribute by volunteering as running buddies, or assisting with the "happy hair" station and cheering on the girls at their annual 5K. We've also invited the girls out for a day to have their own fashion show, and have raised money to deliver brand new shoes!
